Become a Career Development Center Partner
(2010 - 2011)

The Career Development Center in the Division of Student Affairs can help your organization enhance its visibility through sponsorship and naming opportunities. These programs enable your organization to develop a strong campus presence while at the same time helps to support career development programs and recruiting events for students and alumni at Florida Atlantic University.


The Career Development Center Partner program acknowledges organizations that make an annual donation to the FAU Career Development Center in the Division of Student Affairs. Donations from our employer partners are of significant importance to our office as we strive to provide premier career services to FAU students and alumni.

Sponsorship Levels and Benefits

1. Career Development Center Platinum Partner $4000 annually:

   • ~New~ A full page premium ad (B/W) in the Career Success Guide publication distributed to FAU students throughout the year ($1000 value)

   • Complementary registration for one Career Day event during your Career Development Center Partner year fall or spring ($500 value)

   • A full-page premium ad (B/W) in the Career Day Guide fall or spring distributed to all attendees at Career Day ($300 value)

   • ~New~Employer Spotlight Ad on our website ($250 value)

   • High visibility location at Career Day

   • Invitation to participate in Career Prep Month events and workshops

   • Your corporate logo and web link displayed on our website main page

   • Your corporate logo will be prominently featured and displayed on our 42" LCD monitor in our reception area

   • Your company listed as a Platinum Partner in the Career Success Guide publication, distributed to FAU students throughout the year
     

2. Career Development Center Gold Partner $2500 annually:

   • Complementary registration for one Career Day event during your Career Development Center Partner year fall or spring ($500 value)

   • ~New~ A half (1/2) page premium ad (B/W) in the Career Success Guide publication, distributed to FAU students throughout the year ($500 value)

   • A half (1/2) page premium ad (B/W) in the Career Day Guide fall or spring distributed to all attendees at Career Day ($200 value)

   • High visibility location at Career Day

   • Invitation to participate in Career Prep Month events and workshops

   • Your corporate logo and web link displayed on our website main page

   • Your corporate logo displayed on our 42” LCD monitor in our reception area

   • Your company listed as a Gold Partner in the Career Success Guide publication, distributed to FAU students throughout the year

3. Career Development Center Silver Partner $1000 annually:

   • Your corporate logo and web link displayed on our website main page

   • Your corporate logo displayed on our 42” LCD monitor in our reception area

   • ~New~ Your company listed as a Silver Partner in the Career Success Guide publication, distributed to FAU students throughout the year
     

4. Naming Opportunities

   Naming of Career Development Center Facilities: (5 year recognition plus receive all Silver Partner benefits)
   The Career Development Center is in a new state-of-the art facility in the Student Support Services Building. With over 5,100 square feet our center includes a career resource library and computer lab (the only computer lab in the entire building), 8 interview suites, a classroom, recruiter workroom and private recruiting reception area. Corporate sponsorship of these important rooms and facilities provides maximum exposure for your organization and enables the Career Development Center to offer innovative and cutting edge programs for our students and alumni. Important rooms and facilities can be named by the sponsor. Please note naming opportunities for these important facilities are available on a limited basis and are as follows:
   

   • Career Resource Library/Computer Lab ($25,000)

   • Classroom ($10,000)

   • Recruiter Workroom ($7,000)

   • Interview Suites ($5,000)

   These funds are used to maintain and upgrade facilities, furnishings and technology for student and alumni use. Recognition is for five years and includes a plaque with the organization’s name and corporate logo placed at the doorway of the designated room, as well as, includes all Silver Partner benefits.
   

5. Company Sponsored Shirts: $500 (One Time Sponsorship)
   

   Your company will be advertised by all Career Development Center staff members through corporate sponsored shirts adorned with your logo and/or company name on shirt sleeves or pockets.
   

6. Career Development Center Golf Cart: $5000 (One Time Sponsorship)

   
   Used during employer visits, Career Day events, Graduate School Fairs, recruiting visits and throughout the year. As a sponsor, your company name or logo will be prominently displayed on the golf cart.
   

7. Other Sponsorship Opportunities

   • Employer Spotlight Ads on Career Development Center Website $250 (Per Ad/Per Week)
     Become our Employer of the Week! Your Employer Spotlight Ad will be featured exclusively on our website - you choose the week! A good option might be the week you are attending Career Day, hosting an Information Session, or conducting On-Campus Recruiting.

   • Career Success Guide Publications:
     The Career Success Guide is distributed to thousands of FAU students each academic year free of charge. It is a valuable career planning resource which includes the career center’s main events, staff contact information, and serves as a guide to all of our services. Also included in the guide are sample resumes and cover letters. Reserve your space in the 2009-2010 publication. 8. Career Advisor Scholarship Sponsorship: $5000 For One Academic Year (August - May)

   
   Career Advisor Scholarship donations supports graduate students who serve as paraprofessional staff and implement the Same Day Advising Program, the Career Advisors see students on a drop in basis, provide assistance in choosing a major, present career workshops and conduct extensive outreach activities to the FAU community. As a sponsor, your company logo and a photo with your sponsored graduate Career Advisor will be featured in our biannual e-publication Career Update, our newsletter which is electronically distributed to all FAU students, faculty and staff on each of FAU’s 7 campuses. In addition, your organization will be recognized on our 42” LCD monitor displayed in our reception area.
   
   

9. Etiquette Dining Event:

   Our annual Etiquette Dining Event provides formal instruction on business dining etiquette. A nationally recognized etiquette expert provides instruction during a plated, sit down meal along with tips on how to network and international dining customs. This event is highly anticipated and extremely well attended by FAU students and alumni. As an event sponsor the following benefits apply:

   • Sole Event Sponsor: $6000

     • 5 minute opening remarks
     • VIP seating
     • Up to 2 company representatives serve as hosts per table seated with FAU students, faculty, and staff
     • Your company name or logo featured on event promotional materials and within the event folder

   • Single/multiple Table Sponsor: $600 per table of 10 (max 10 tables)

     • Up to 2 company representatives serve as hosts per table seated along with FAU students, alumni, faculty and staff
     • Your company name or logo will be featured on event promotional materials and within the event folder
