Mixed paper will be picked up weekly from a white cardboard office receptacle or a blue plastic workroom bin. Mixed paper includes:
- Magazines/catalogues
- Phone books
- Home/office/shredded paper
- Computer paper
- Junk mail/brochures

- Newspapers/newsletters
- Clean cereal/food packaging
- Holiday/brown wrapping paper
- Envelopes (all colors and types)

Cardboard boxes can be left in the hall outside the office or workspace door for the custodial staff to collect them. For pickup of large amounts of cardboard, call 954-762-5040.
 Cans and bottles should be placed in the blue plastic receptacles with green lids and round holes. Cans and bottles include:
- Soda cans
- Soup or food cans, rinsed out
- Water bottles with cap removed
- Glass bottles of any color, rinsed out and with cap removed
Toner and ink jet cartridges, drums, fusers, transfer kits and cell phones can be marked "recycle" and placed in campus outgoing mail for pickup.
The rebate for these items goes to the Broward Vision Fund for scholarships. |
