On Feb. 28, 2005, Florida Atlantic University unveiled new University marks. The marks were developed through a process that started some 18 months earlier and included distilling more than 4,000 comments from students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members through e-mails, focus groups and surveys. The University now has its first true logo, a unified athletics logo and a refined official seal — a crucial step in strengthening FAU's brand identity.
