Annual Banner Access Certification
Information and Process

Proper management of the Banner system requires that policies and procedures provide for secure and efficient use of all applications - Finance, Human Resources, and Banner for Students. Recently developed policies for Banner require your assistance to ensure continued success with using the system.

Annually, each Banner user will receive a request from system security personnel to review current access to various applications. This review will include supervisory input and is part of an annual certification process to ensure that operational and security integrity of the system is maintained and well documented.

Access to Banner forms and objects is granted through the use of the Banner Security Forms located at www.fau.edu/banner/security.php.  A spreadsheet has been provided listing and defining the Banner Security Classes.
