The Division of University Advancement is responsible for advancing the mission and goals of Florida Atlantic University through outreach initiatives and fundraising efforts designed to engage the University’s external constituencies, including alumni, donors, friends and members of the community.  Under the leadership of  Senior Vice President Randy Talbot, University Advancement continues to strive for excellence as a major arm of the University’s administrative framework.

The Division consists of seven core functions:

• Alumni Relations
• Annual Giving
• Corporate and Foundation Relations
• Development/Fundraising
• University Relations
• Gift Planning

In addition to these areas of service, the FAU Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, exists within the auspices of University Advancement.  Headed by a volunteer board of directors and advised by Randy Talbot, who also serves as its  executive director, the Foundation is a direct support organization that provides the University with the financial services necessary for the processing, spending and investment of private gifts.
