FRESHMAN INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS
We are pleased that you are interested in Florida Atlantic University. FAU is committed to maintaining a diverse student body and currently enrolls students from over 170 countries. Whether you have already applied, or are just beginning the application process, we encourage you to follow the steps below to assure that we provide you with the best service possible. This page will include academic and visa requirements, our step-by-step freshman international process, as well as information about financial assistance for international students.
Admission to the freshman class is competitive. The level of competition is determined by the number of applicants, the quality of their academic credentials, and the University's enrollment goals, which are established in conjunction with the University's mission and current state educational policies and funding. Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission.
International student's Costs are estimated based on annual Financial Aid Budgets and are subject to change without notice. To learn more about current estimated cost for international students please review the Financial Certification Form.
Students who are currently in U.S. may request to use a lower estimate for living expenses if they plan to live with relatives. For more details please review the Cost estimates for students living with family.
