New Incoming Student  LC Application Dates & Deadlines

• All Year - Once admitted, students can apply for University Housing

• October- Living-Learning Community Applications available for incoming students to apply

• April – Freshman Learning Community Applications available for incoming students to apply

• May 18 – Priority deadline for Living-Learning Community applications (Most LLCs fill before April)

• July/August  – LLC student room assignments available

• August 1st – Deadline for FLC applications (Most FLCs fill before July)

         Typical Timeline of the Learning Community Experience

• May thru August - All incoming students interested in the LC program must attend Orientation and the LC Information Session at Orientation

• August - Move-in for residential students, Learning Community Welcome Receptions, and Freshman Convocation

• First Week of Classes- Living-Learning Community students begin "Common Hour" every Tuesday at 4 p.m.

• September-November: Learning Community Liaisons begin fall programming events for FLC and LLC students. Freshman Learning Community students can attend several exclusive events.

• November: LC Spring Registration begins (optional for FLCs)

• January – May: LLC program continues; FLC students may continue in selected courses with their cohort
